Description
The An-2 is the largest single engine bi-plane in the world. With a total production of about 18500 units, it is also one of the most prolific post Second World War aircraft. In the Soviet Union over 5000 of these machines were built but in Poland also, the PZL Works set a record when it achieved an annual production totalling 600 aircraft delivered during 1973. The aircraft possesses amazing slow flying characteristics in is still produced, albeit in single units, today in China. Its reliability under extreme conditions is legendary!
