Description
Swiss Air-Rescue Rega is the largest air rescue organisation in Switzerland. It brings emergency medical assistance by air to people in distress. Between 1992 and 2010, it flew rescue missions using the Italian twin-engined Agusta A 109 K2 helicopter. For 11 years, Rega’s aircraft fleet comprised 15 helicopters of this one type, specially customised to meet its requirements. They demonstrated excellent flight performance in the mountains and were fitted with compact medical equipment.- Detailed cockpit
